Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, Tara Nicole's first experience performing in front of an audience was in her early years. At the age of 7, she trained modern and ballet dance for 9 years. After an injury, she channeled her love of expression into acting starting off first doing bit parts, music videos an independent film projects. Taras love for acting was undeniable but after tirelessly working at her craft and a brief move to L.A. she decided to quit acting and see the world, visiting such places as the Caribbean China Korea Madrid Valencia and Ibiza. Upon returning home Tara settled into her new career as an independent marketing and sales rep and became a mother to her beautiful son Colson. while becoming extremely successful in her career, her love for acting never disappeared. Two years ago, the urge to get back into the art she loves so dearly grew stronger, she decided to take a leap of faith and returned back to acting. Tara can be seen on the OWN Network, TV1, and HBO. This year, she embarked on a new endeavor, deciding to take control of her career and create content for herself and others. Tara first writing effort has excited the masses and created a huge buzz among her peers and in the entertainment community. Her first project is a television series pilot which is currently in pre production. The series is titled "Anchor" it is based on a career driven single mom and her amazing group of friends. It focuses on the true meaning of friendship and the metaphoric definition of the word "Anchor" these friends vow to always hold one another down. This series is sure to keep you entertained with its sexy, gritty story lines and the ironic familiarity of each character. Success for the cast and crew is inevitable, sky is the limit for this up and comer and shes only just begun.
